Join Me for Lent 2025: A Daily Journey Through Psalm 22 to the Heart of Jesus
Exclusive for Paid Subscribers – Starting March 1st (Ash Wednesday is March 5)
My Friends,
Lent is a season of reflection, renewal, and deepening our walk with Christ. This year, I’m inviting you on a daily journey through Psalm 22, exploring its deep connection to Christ’s suffering, hope, and ultimate victory.
You must be a Paid Subscriber to receive these posts.
I wrote The Psalm on the Cross several years ago, and it was one of the most spiritually rich journeys I’ve ever taken. Thousands have read this book during Lent, returning to it over and over again.
Since writing the book, I’ve returned to Psalm 22 countless times. Sometimes, a few verses rise in my heart. Other times, a single word lingers. Sometimes, I think about the lonely scene of Calvary—Jesus suffering alone with his thoughts—and then I ‘see’ him look around for his mother. She was there.
And we can be there too.
Psalm 22 is one of the most beautiful, passionate, and sometimes painful examples of Hebrew poetry. It really will raise some significant issues aboutour faith and our love of the Lord.
But like all of Scripture, the more we read it, and the deeper we go in it, the brighter and clearer it becomes.
This year, I would be honored to take you on a journey through Psalm 22.
I will be sharing short daily reflections every weekday.
I won’t repost my book. My thoughts and short essays will go beyond my book. I’ll add further thoughts, biblical insights, and references to the daily life of a Christian.
Each day, we will engage in:
📖 A fresh reflection or insight into Psalm 22
🙏 A daily prayer on a theme within the Psalm.
🗣 A chance to engage in the comment section
📅 A simple, proven plan for deepening your prayer life
This will be more than just a reading plan—it will be a time of spiritual renewal and community.

Why Psalm 22?
Psalm 22 was the basis of my best-selling book "The Psalm on the Cross" because Jesus Himself prayed it on Calvary: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Jesus asked the infamous, provocative question from the cross and then, as I show in my daily posts, recited the entire Psalm which he had memorized.
The series will unpack the psalm’s depth, its foreshadowing of the crucifixion, and how it leads us into Easter hope.
Join me for this exclusive Lent 2025 series and make this season a time of spiritual renewal.
