Do I get tired of waiting? Am I a foolish virgin who lets my lamp go out, or do I live every day expecting my Jesus' return? Have I forgotten my Bridegroom's return and put all my energies into what I will one day leave? Or am I a faithful bride who is focused on preparing my "trousseau" of what can be carried into eternity: Prayers, people, and intimacy with God?
This is moving and beautiful. The co-relation between building patterns in the Middle East and John 14:3 is something God had not given me in preaching in this passage in the past - even in 21 years of ministry (now retired). I look forward to reading more. I will be starting my own Substack publication in September called Dancing with Jesus Today. I look forward to interacting with you more. God bless you for some compelling insights.
I pray for a miracle of healing; however I look forward to being with Jesus full time. I know He is preparing a place for me and to that I say "Maranatha!"
I had to smile at "And He's not sending a moving truck..." When my grandchild was 3 or 4 years old, I was asked "Does a car pick us up?" Fond memory, thank you!
Beautiful message today! So reassuring. So comforting. Learned lots this morning!
Thanks for reading and leaving a comment.

What a perfect message for the days we’re living in and before we head to church! Maranatha!
Come Lord!
