Thank you for writing this series about Christ Church. It was intimate, vulnerable, raw and a gift as you shared your perspective & the behind-the-scenes story. Having called Christ Church home since the first service at Saint Carpenters, I have my own memories of how we came to be. You have filled in details which enrich the truth of God’s love & faithfulness over the peaks & through the valleys on the journey of The Church & God’s faithful people. Your & Fran’s legacy, as well as that of so many others, live on through Paul and Monika as they lead us faithfully forward. Soli Deo Gloria!
Sandy, when I wrote that I heard a still voice in me that said, He's with the Lord. I actually remembered your loss. So sorry...but not sorry that you have such a strong assurance.
Beautifully said, Sandra. That sense of being “brought home” to the Anglican faith, there’s something deeply grounding in that. Would love to hear more of your journey sometime.
David there are so many times I should have responded. I loved all your writings on the history of Christ Church. Of course since Michael was on staff, I felt a part of these memories. I so admire how you handled the move from the Episcopal church. I know how difficult it was for you. I remember Michael telling me of things that happened behind the scene. I especially appreciate your story of Father Ted and LeeAnne. He and Resurrection changed our lives. Michael became a believer and that change the direction of our family life. I love Ted and LeeAnne. I have lost touch with her. I am so sorry to hear about Mark’s relations with his Mom. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to send money to her. I just sent some money to you and ask you to let me know if more is needed. I want her to feel loved. Is it possible for me to go see her? I love your post. I used your book and post during lent. WOW both were terrific and I was brought so close to Jesus through them. Keep writing. You are making a difference. Love Sara
Sara, it would be wonderful to have you visit her. Truly. I think perhaps Fran might be the one to take you there. She sees Lee Ann every week. You have my email (DRoseberry@mac.com). Please send me your phone and Fran and you can figure out a date.
Mike? Oh, I could write a story on him. Or two stories. What a champion. Quiet. Competent. Steady. Faithful. There is so much more to tell...
Let's find a time to meet up...you, me, and Fran. Soon!
Thank you for reading and your comment. There are more stories to tell, but I have done what I came to do: cover the big movement.
Today, I would tell church leaders or planters to make heavy use of Instagram, not for social media purposes, but to document the ways God is building and developing the churches. Most of my essays were keyed off a photo here and there.
David, Wow! Just wow! These stories have been such a gift. Thank you. I’ve read and learned and cried and laughed. You leave an incredible legacy, not just at Christ Church, but in the hearts of your readers. God bless you and Fran.
Your stories have blessed me, reopened beautiful memories, also some sadness, but most of all, joy and thanksgiving that God led us to Christ Church 38 years ago. Thank you for writing these stories, David.

Amen to this, Debbie.
Most of all for your untiring work in leaving the Episcopal Church and bringing us home to the Anglican faith.🙏🏻
Blessings to you and Everett. May the Lord continue to bless your faithfulness.
Thank you for your blessings. You probably didn’t know but my Everett went to be with Christ 5 years ago, May 2020 from Pancreatic Cancer.🙏🏻

David, how can you even hope to remember all of your parishioners. You and Fran are amazing and thank you.
David AND Fran, thank you both for your unending prayers and love and dedication for ChristChurch

David, what an inspiration to those of us who come after in planted or founded Churches. I have enjoyed and learned from every Chapter.
Thank You. I look forward to your further visits at Faith Church-Anglican.

Thanks so much. It has been a great exercise in faith and truth. I am closer to God because of it.
Wonderful wonderful stories and memories. Thanks to you and Fran for what you did for Christ Church over those many years.
